Researchers found that certain berries such as raspberries, cranberries, low bush blueberries (but not highbush - they are a different species of blueberries), black and white currants, gooseberries and sea buckthorn strongly inhibited stomach, breast, prostate and colon cancers. Note that strawberries and blackberries had no protective effects. These can be easily incorporated into morning shakes. If you are a patient of ours, talk to Steve about customizing a morning shake to help address your particular risk factors.

In this study they found that horse-radish inhibits the H1N1 strain of the swine flu and that the addition of caffeine resulted in a synergistic effect which further lowered mortality rates from this virus.

Therefore, its cheap sushi restaurant time. You get your green tea and horse-radish (real wasabi is served only in the fine japanese restaurants, the rest are cheap (but anti-viral) horseradish). However we recommend you stick with vegetable rolls or california or other cooked rolls since who knows what else you might contract from raw fish at a cheap sushi restaurant.

We have been researching herbs and other substances to combat the swine flu virus (SIV). While we’re not yet sure how fast it is spreading, it has the potential to be quite serious in southern California given the high incidence of travel between California and Mexico. There have been a number of deaths blamed on the virus, including younger and presumably healthier people.

The good news is that chemicals in Green Tea (particularly EGCG and ECG) strongly inhibit the swine flu virus (SIV). So drinking Green Tea would be a good habit to get into right now. If you are pregnant or sensitive to caffeine then use water decaffeinated Green Tea.
